ACFEC welcomes expressions of interest from experienced facilitators for current and future contract trainer and assessor opportunities.

We are a specialist RTO with more than 20 years’ experience delivering nationally recognised training across the Australian public sector.

Areas of expertise

  • Government investigations and regulatory compliance – including investigation planning, evidence gathering and assessment, interviewing and regulatory powers.

  • Government procurement and contracting – including procurement planning, tendering and evaluation, contract management, probity and governance.

Working with ACFEC

As a contract trainer and assessor with ACFEC, you will help government professionals build practical skills they can apply directly in their roles.

Opportunities may include delivering open courses and client-specific programs face-to-face or in a live virtual classroom. ACFEC provides established learning and assessment resources, which you can complement with relevant examples and professional insight to guide discussion and make learning engaging and relevant.

Depending on the program, work may also include observing practical assessment activities, marking assessments and providing constructive feedback. Some engagements may require interstate or regional travel.

What we are looking for

You will need to demonstrate:

  • vocational competence at least to the level of the training being delivered and assessed, supported by relevant qualifications or equivalent evidence

  • ongoing vocational currency and an up-to-date understanding of industry practice in your specialist field

  • a training and assessment credential accepted under current RTO requirements, together with current training and assessment skills maintained through ongoing VET professional development

  • the ability to facilitate engaging, practical learning for adult learners and conduct competency-based assessment

  • a sound understanding of government and public sector operating environments

  • the ability to follow ACFEC’s training and assessment requirements and meet agreed delivery and assessment timeframes.

Experience delivering nationally recognised training within an RTO, particularly to government participants, will be highly regarded.
