Janine Ilitch
Chief Executive Officer
Australian Centre for Environmental Compliance
Janine Ilitch is the Chief Executive Officer of ACFEC, where she leads the organisation’s strategic direction and performance and oversees governance, regulatory compliance, quality and continuous improvement. She guides ACFEC’s training portfolio to ensure its programs respond to the evolving capability needs of government and regulatory organisations. This portfolio includes government investigations training, incorporating conflict management courses, as well as procurement and contracting programs.
Janine also represented Australia in netball for 11 years. Her experience in elite sport continues to inform her disciplined and collaborative approach to leadership.

LUKE BOND
Trainer and assessor - Government Investigations
Luke is an accomplished investigations and enforcement professional with approximately 25 years’ experience across environmental regulation, policing, intelligence, resource protection and training. He has held senior roles with state and federal agencies, INTERPOL and the Australian Crime Commission and has delivered extensive investigation and enforcement training in Australia and internationally. His current operational experience enables him to bring contemporary practice and real-world insight to his training.
LYNETTE CROFT
Trainer and assessor - Government Investigations
Lynette is an experienced investigator and trainer with more than 20 years’ experience across complex investigations, government regulation, integrity oversight, policing and local government. Her expertise includes regulatory compliance, professional misconduct, fraud, corruption and criminal investigations. As a current investigator, Lynette brings contemporary investigative practice and practical, real-world insight to her delivery of government investigations training.
CRAIG MCCORMACK
Trainer and Assessor - Government Investigation
Craig has more than 20 years’ experience across law enforcement, compliance and emergency response. During his time as a Senior Instructor with NSW Corrective Services, he developed expertise in legislation, critical incident management and tactical response. His experience as an Environmental Compliance Officer includes conducting overt and covert operations and complex investigations involving evidence gathering and the preparation of prosecution briefs. Craig brings this practical, real-world experience to his delivery of government investigations training.
PAUL SIMONSSON
Trainer and assessor - Government Investigations
Paul is a highly qualified trainer with formal qualifications in law, investigations, VET training and management and 30 years’ experience delivering training and capability development within government. He has designed and delivered accredited investigation programs for government agencies across Australia, including initiatives for Indigenous communities. Paul’s expertise in legislative interpretation and policy implementation, together with his strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, enables him to make complex requirements clear, relevant and accessible to diverse learners.
RODNEY WARREN
Trainer and assessor - Government Investigations
Rodney is an accomplished investigations and enforcement professional with decades of experience leading major operations targeting wildlife crime, including smuggling, trafficking and the destruction of native wildlife. His expertise spans complex investigations, prosecutions and enforcement training. Through his work with the Australian Environment Law Enforcement Regulators Network, Rodney also contributed to the development of nationally recognised qualifications, including the Certificate IV and Diploma in Government Investigations. He brings extensive operational experience and practical insight to his training.
TERRY WHITEHEAD
Trainer and assessor - Government Investigations
Terry has extensive law enforcement experience in Victoria, with particular expertise in criminal investigations, emergency management and community engagement. He has designed and delivered training programs for government organisations that build practical investigative capability and support effective operational practice. Terry draws on his law enforcement background to deliver relevant and engaging training grounded in real-world experience.

Ben is a highly experienced procurement and contracting professional, trainer and people leader with more than 20 years’ experience across the public and private sectors. He has led complex and high-risk procurement activities and provided strategic procurement, contract management and probity advice within Commonwealth government and higher education environments. With formal qualifications in procurement, contract management, project management and training and assessment, Ben brings practical, contemporary expertise to his training.
Jane diedricks
Trainer and Assessor - Procurement and Contracting
Jane is an experienced legal, procurement and probity professional with more than 20 years’ experience across the public and private sectors. A qualified lawyer and nationally accredited mediator, she has held senior executive and advisory roles and worked with government clients on complex procurement, contract management and probity matters. Jane has also lectured in law and management at the University of Canberra and brings strong legal expertise, practical industry insight and a collaborative approach to her training.

Carolyn is an experienced trainer specialising in legislative compliance, procurement and contracting. She has developed and delivered procurement and contracting programs, including the Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting. Her practical approach, proactive leadership and strong communication skills enable her to explain complex compliance and contracting requirements clearly and create engaging, relevant learning experiences.
