We also offer the Advanced Diploma, Diploma and Certificate IV on a closed and tailored basis for your Department only, if there is sufficient demand for such delivery.
The Advanced Diploma is designed for Managers and Senior Managers in the Public Service who are working in (or working towards) a management role in procurement and contracting.
The course is designed to enhance skills in management and will build on existing knowledge. It will include project management, networking and outsourcing skills in addition to procurement and contracting specifics.
It is beneficial as a higher qualification after completing the Diploma in Procurement and Contracting.
The Course will be held one day per fortnight over a 6 month period. There will be substantial efforts required by learners in between each class working toward a cumulative project outcome.

Assessment tasks
ACFEC applies a risk-based approach to determine the risks of an assessment tool. Assessment tools include:
- practical exercises
- participation in a workplace simulated assessment activity
- testing of underpinning knowledge through short answer questions, and
- requests for learners to provide evidence of prior application of skills and pre-courses assignment (where required and requested by the client)
